- I wonder if aligning all likes + actions to the left would work better. I can’t put my finger on why exactly (except maybe that Reddit does the same?). It might be the lack of divider, which makes a post feel “grouped” together, but the right aligned icons and date feel too free-floating.
- & .3 Some small adjustment needed for correct alignment (happy to help if you like)
- Some general tighting up within a post, because there seems to be a lot of white space
One UX part I never liked on reddit either, is that when I collapse a reply, it also collapses the main post:
While what I would want, is just to collapse the replies, but keep main posts visible.
Maybe I’m alone in that sentiment, but a completely collapsed main post disappears too much imo.
I remember it being much more of a thing years ago, but people still do notice and write in with concerns.
I think what you came up with looks great @keegan ! Let’s maybe start with that and see how long we go without questions from customers. If we do get any new requests, the TAs can talk with the customer to figure out what would have helped ease concerns and report back here.
